The Detroit Lutheran Singers welcome you to join them as they present sacred Christmas music in a season that has been both challenging and enlightening. The strains of JS Bach’s Come, Jesu Come invite the listener to join the cry of humanity for the saving grace of the Christ Child. Christmas Oratorio by Camille Saint-Saëns is a seasonal favorite that truly brings hope and joy in its story telling of the expectation of Mary and joy of the coming Christ. Surrounding these two works are other favorites from John Rutter, Paul Manz and others.
