Who are the Detroit Lutheran Singers…

Please join us for the 56th year of the Detroit Lutheran Singers! The Detroit Lutheran Singers strive to promote excellence in the performance of sacred choral music in the Detroit Metropolitan area. To that end, Director Christopher Hall selects programs of sacred music ranging from the old masters to present-day composers. This ecumenical group enjoys singing a variety of styles, including cantatas, spirituals and favorite anthems.

The Detroit Lutheran Singers have had the pleasure of performing in a variety of venues outside of traditional concert performances, including singing the National Anthem for the Detroit Tigers and performing with Composer Dan Forrest at Carnegie Hall! Most recently, the DLS crossed the pond to Germany to walk in the footsteps of Martin Luther and JS Bach!
